Entry-Level CAD Drafter / Designer (Multiple Openings)

 

Description

Amheart Solutions, Inc. is currently looking for entry-level CAD Drafters/Designers for one of our clients, a top Architecture & Engineering firm located in Los Angeles, CA. Drafters/Designers produce detailed, accurate drawings for building dimensions, required materials, and construction procedures. Drafters/Designers must be proficient with AutoCAD software and have proficient understanding of the materials, tools, and processes involved in construction and construction management.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software and under direct supervision of other technicians of professional staff.
  • Drafting in MicroStation, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit for BIM, and other relevant software applications 
  • Work directly with engineers and project teams to incorporate engineering design into CAD.
  • Perform design and drafting as directed by Project Engineer.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

 

Required qualifications

  • Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Entry-level position (zero to two years working as a design professional).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, standard BIM Software, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit for BIM

 

Highly desirable qualifications

  • Local candidates.
  • MicroStation or AutoCAD certification.
