Architectural Designer

Description
Amheart Solutions is currently looking for Architectural Designers to assist in our Los Angeles CA Transportation Architecture related projects. The Architectural Designers will be involved in the full range of a project’s development, beginning with programming, design development, construction detailing, and assistance during construction. The candidate must be able to work independently in the creation of design assignments with only general instruction from the Project Architect or Project Manager. The role is highly collaborative entailing close coordination with engineering teams in structures, building systems, and rail/bus/highway design.
Responsibilities
- Create physical and digital models of project designs;
- Render design concepts;
- Develop construction documents and specifications;
- Analyze construction code and prepare written analysis; and
- Prepare other technical reports as needed.
Required qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture;
- Experience or interest in landscape architecture, urban planning or design, and large transportation infrastructure projects;
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Powerpoint), AutoCAD, Revit, or Microstation, and 2D drawing;
- Over two years of experience preparing master plans, site plans, details specifications, and construction documents is preferred;
- Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, 3D Max, and Rhino is preferred.
